Joe's Italian Ice

We had to try this place after seeing the lines wrapped around the block for days. We finally got the chance to try it on our last day in Anaheim. We walked from the hotel down a block or two and got lucky that between lunch and dinner the lines were a little shorter. We tried the peanut butter cup made with Italian ice and ice cream and was very good! Had peanut butter cup pieces mixed in it. Also note: if you pay in cash instead of credit card they have a 4% discount! After trying it we now know why most evenings the line is wrapped around the block. Definitely worth a try and worth the wait!!!

After dinner, we went on a walk with loved ones and ended the night with ice cream — no regrets, just joy. I don’t usually have a sweet tooth, so when it comes to ice cream, it has to be amazing for me to actually enjoy it. This place really hit the spot. Yes, the line was long — like 50 people ahead of us — but it moved shockingly fast. We had our ice cream in hand within 5–6 minutes. I saw some comments about tough parking, but we must’ve gone on a lucky day because we found a spot right in their lot without any trouble. Highly recommend if you take your ice cream as seriously as I do.

I was not aware of this place until a couple weeks ago and wow, I'm so happy we stayed at the hotel around the corner. It was so good, that we went twice in the course of five days . Both times, I got the Joe Latti blue raspberry and strawberry lemonade, respectively. WOW, was it incredible. I have never had Italian ice like this before. The Italian ice part was delicious, but somehow still so creamy. The ice cream part was sooo rich and delicious and creamy as well. 100000% will be coming here again the next time I'm going to Disney. Pro-tip - the lines can get a bit insane, but the line does move fairly quickly. On Thursday night, the line ended around halfway down the parking lot, but it only took us 17 minutes to go from the end of the line to getting our order. Ice cream hit the spot. First time here and almost didnt go because line was ridiculously long but went anyway. Luckily, it took about 15 minutes. It goes pretty fast. Delicious and will go again if I am in the area. I had the orange cream…yum

This place is popular for several reasons: 1. Close to Disneyland and many other nearby stadiums 2. Dog friendly 3. Variety of flavors and combinations of icecream 4. History I got to grab a chocolate soft serve icecream with friends after we missed getting to attend the Harvest Crusade. The traffic was too bad so we pivoted to grabbing icecream in fellowship! What a beautiful, wonderful time to eat icecream while seeing the sunset from the parking lot across Joes. Please park there when parking can be limited! Service is quick and well-organized to move the long lines along. You may expect at least a 10-15 minute wait, so have some good conversations in the meantime. God bless you all!

The line speaks for itself—this is hands down the best spot to stop by in Anaheim! Joe’s Italian Ice never disappoints. The flavors are amazing, the service is fast and friendly, and it’s always worth the wait. A must-visit every time I’m in the area!

This spot offers excellent ice cream with a wide variety of flavors to enjoy. While the lines can be long at times, the quality makes it well worth the wait. Parking is limited, which can be inconvenient, but it shouldn’t deter you from visiting. The only drawback was the disruptive behavior of a few visitors revving their engines nearby, though this is beyond the establishment’s control.

A must try if you're in Anaheim (I’m from San Diego)! I was not aware of this place until we drove by one night after an Angel’s game and noticed the huge crowd. I am so happy we stayed at the hotel near by and decided to try it the next day. Friendly staff and delicious ice!
